Enjoy a scenic coastal walk along the Fife Coastal Path from Kirkcaldy to Kinghorn. This relaxed group ramble takes in beautiful sea views, local history, and the natural environment along the way.
The walk begins at Seafield and passes the historic Seafield Tower, with opportunities to spot wildlife and explore the area’s geology. Parts of the route may include walking along the beach, where you can look for sea glass, pottery, and fossils.
At Kinghorn, you can choose to:
Take the train or bus back (at your own cost)
Walk back independently
Stop for coffee or lunch in one of the local cafés
Additional information
Distance: approx. 2–3 miles at a leisurely pace
Terrain: mostly flat but includes some uneven, rocky or sandy sections
Weather-dependent (confirmation given the day before if cancelled)
Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult
Dogs are not permitted
