Join our welcoming Walk ON leaders for a relaxed ramble around the local area near the Galleries. Afterwards, unwind with a cuppa and a chat - about books, exhibitions, or anything you fancy. There’s no prep required, no reading beforehand and best of all… it’s FREE.

Each session is casual and sociable, promoting the wellbeing benefits of walking and connecting with others. Whether you come along solo or bring a friend, you’ll be made to feel right at home.

What to Expect

• A gentle 25–40 minute walk

• Friendly, informal conversation

• Optional café time afterwards

• Occasional themed sessions inspired by exhibitions or books

Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes. You may also wish to bring water or a small snack.
